Transcending is a direct experience of the reality that we are all connected to each other
In essence, transcending is an experience of the universal source of everyone’s consciousness, the reality in which everyone and everything is connected. (see transcending = highest human experience). We already experience this reality to some extent in our daily life. For example, love is the feeling of being connected to someone else, even though there may be no tangible connection between you and that other person.
Of course stress also plays an important role in our relationships with others. Transcending can remove our deepest stress (see PTSS) and we begin to remain calm even outside of meditation, which has a very strong positive effect on our relationships.
